By accessing or using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, you must not access or use our Services.

1. Scope of This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to information collected by Quantara Capital through:

  • Strategy marketplace participation, including both subscribers and Strategy Managers

This Privacy Policy does not apply to information collected by third parties that are not controlled by Quantara Capital, including your brokerage (such as Interactive Brokers or other supported brokerages), payment processors, analytics providers, cloud infrastructure providers, social networks, or other external websites or services, even if they are linked from or integrated with our Services. Your brokerage relationship, brokerage account terms, and brokerage privacy practices are governed by your brokerage's own agreements and policies, not this Privacy Policy.

We may collect, receive, generate, infer, combine, and otherwise process the following categories of information, depending on how you interact with the Services.

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

We collect information you voluntarily provide when you:

  • Create an Account: Name, email address, phone number, username, password, and other registration details

  • Complete Your Profile: Address, date of birth, demographic information, professional background, and business affiliations

  • Connect Brokerage Accounts: Information necessary to establish API connections with your brokerage (such as Interactive Brokers or other supported brokerages), including account identifiers and authentication credentials

  • Subscribe to Services: Payment information, billing address, subscription selections, and transaction history

  • Contact Us: Communications, inquiries, feedback, support requests, reviews, ratings, comments, testimonials, and any content you submit

  • Participate in Surveys or Promotions: Responses and participation data

  • Strategy Manager Applications: Strategy descriptions, methodology summaries, performance information, disclosures, promotional materials, tax documentation, and payout details

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you access our Services, we automatically collect certain information, including:

Important Clarification: Quantara Capital does not seek to collect your brokerage login credentials through ordinary platform use where authentication is handled through secure token-based or brokerage-authorized API protocols. The API authorization does not grant us permission to withdraw funds from your account, transfer securities out of your account, or access your personal banking information through the integration itself.

2.4 Information from Third Parties

We may receive information about you from third parties, including:

  • Your Brokerage: Account status, connection status, and trade execution confirmations from your brokerage (such as Interactive Brokers or other supported brokerages)

  • Technology Partners: Platform usage data and strategy subscription information from our third-party technology providers

  • Strategy Managers: If you interact with Strategy Managers (such as through comments, support requests, or subscriptions), we may receive information about those interactions

  • Payment Processors: Transaction confirmations, billing information, limited payment-related metadata, card brand, expiration data, billing zip code, payment status, and processor tokens

  • Analytics Providers: Aggregated usage and performance data

  • Identity Verification Vendors: Verification results and fraud prevention signals

  • Administer Strategy Manager accounts, payout arrangements, platform permissions, and business relationships

  • Analyze usage trends and user behavior

  • Develop new features and functionality

  • Conduct research and analysis

  • Test and troubleshoot our platform

  • Improve features, workflows, infrastructure reliability, design, support quality, onboarding, pricing, and content

If you use the marketplace, some information may be disclosed to Strategy Managers or visible within marketplace workflows as necessary to administer subscriptions, support strategy operations, handle disputes, or comply with legal obligations. Quantara Capital limits disclosures where feasible, but marketplace functionality may require certain account, subscription, or performance-related data exchanges.

4.5 With Your Consent

We may share your information for other purposes with your explicit consent or when you request, authorize, direct, or consent to the disclosure (such as when you connect external services, request introductions, participate in a referral program, or direct us to share information with professional advisers or counterparties).

SMS/Text Messaging Privacy: No mobile information (including phone numbers collected for SMS) will be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers collected for text messaging are used solely to send the messages you have consented to receive. Information sharing to subcontractors in support of these services (e.g., our SMS provider) is permitted.   • Generated outputs and follow-up interactions

  • Metadata such as time, feature usage, device information, and error logs

Quantara Capital does not control third-party privacy practices and is not responsible for their content, security, policies, or processing activities. Without limitation, your brokerage account, brokerage execution, custody, account administration, and third-party API permissions are governed in part by your brokerage's own terms and privacy practices.

12. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

Eligibility requirements for the platform require users to be adults with legal capacity and supported brokerage access, reinforcing that the Services are intended for adult users.

  • Quantara Capital may preserve and disclose information where it believes doing so is necessary to protect the platform, users, Strategy Managers, counterparties, brokerages, service providers, regulators, or the public

  • Quantara Capital may rely on third-party vendors and infrastructure providers and is not responsible for the independent privacy or security practices of unaffiliated third parties except as required by law

  • Quantara Capital may de-identify or aggregate information and retain or use such data indefinitely to the extent permitted by law

  • Rights and choices described in this Privacy Policy are subject to exceptions, verification procedures, legal retention requirements, dispute preservation needs, and technical limitations

  • Nothing in this Privacy Policy creates a fiduciary duty, advisory relationship, escrow obligation, custody obligation, or any contractual promise beyond those expressly made in Quantara Capital's separate agreements and legally binding terms

  • If any provision of this Privacy Policy is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect
